Running with God
Status: INACTIVE
Description: I find the unity pond to be one of the most relaxing, revitalizing places on campus. Whenever I’m stressed and I can’t see past my own discretions I find my self walking out to the community pond to hear a word from God. I have found that for myself to be able to hear a word from God I MUST be receptive. To me making myself receptive to God’s voice is setting and specific time out to just clear my mind and listen for him. In this activity the group listen a short worship article and then we will really think on what we read about by running from Carter to the Unity pond and back in the mornings at 8am. During this time I hope for the group members to look at their peaceful surroundings, listen to the nature, and most importantly listen for God, all while getting in our daily exercise!
